•June '19-24 -Provence and The Cote D'Azure. It sounds too good to be true and it was!! Four of Nicole's Studio Artists Head to France!! - Nicole Kennedy, Dan Nelson, Joseph DiGiulio and Sharon DiGiulio are chosen by Jerry's Artarama, a national art supply retailer to paint "en plein air" with a new oil paint soon to be marketed by Jerry's art stores. The oil paint comprised of exciting colours is manufatured by Charvin Couleurs in Nice/Cannes. Back from a fabulous whirlwind tour and painting locales like; St Tropez, around St Remy and more, the artists experiment with the colors and get to know their French hosts... Bruno & Laurence Charvin!!

• Duke Raleigh Hospital's Permanent Art Collection: Nicole, as a member of the Duke Guild Art Committee, has been commissioned to paint artwork depicting Raleigh for the installation at the new Duke Raleigh Hospital expansion on Wake Forest Road. Nicole's painting for the permanent collection features the NC State Fair, "Twilight on the Midway" and Sunday in the Sand. The Hospital has also acquired and framed through the gallery over 100 giclee prints of galery artists' imagery to hang in the patients rooms. Nicole has helped place dozen of works throughout the hospital in all buildings.
•Nicole's Studio & Gallery exhibits out of the Capital Bank Headquarters Lobby on Fayetteville Street. Capital Bank just purchased two paintings of downtown Raleigh from Nicole's Gallery for their permanant collection by Nicole and Bob Rankin.
2006-07
• Midtown Magazine Premiere Issue 2007: Interviews Nicole on the healing qualities of artwork being acquired by Duke Raleigh Hospital through Nicole's Studio & other venues. Images of Nicole's work throughout the article in Duke's collection.
• Artists and Art Galleries of the South runs a two page color spread on Nicole's artwork -
• Metro Magazine Art Journalist, Louis St. Lewis features Nicole's artwork in a story on the Italian themed Mannequin Ball, check it out at Metro Magazine website.
• Nicole's Kennedy is chosen by United States Ambassador to Denmark, Jim Cain to display her North Carolina scenes in the Ambassador's Copenhagen Castle residence through the Art in Embassies Program
• PBS- Paint Paper & Crafts TV series - Nicole demonstrates oil and palette knife painting for program host Sloan Rutter airing nationwide through 2006 and 2007!
